I'd like to wish everyone on the east coast well - the storm should be pretty big when it hits us! I'm in NH and even though we shouldn't get it that bad, I'm still pretty anxious.

My parents and sister still live in NJ and whenever my Dad hears about a hurricane in TX or a tornado in OK (where 2 of my kids live), he says, "I'm sure glad I live in NJ, we never get anything bad like that!" OK, so the last time we talked, I mentioned the earthquake and an impending hurricane all in the same week, and he can't think of much of a response. OK, now when is the big volcano set to erupt?!?

These times are the only time when close friends appreciate phonographs! Were hunkered down, Vic IV wound, kerosine lamps ready... and of course some wine

Anyone have a copy of "Goodnight Irene" to play on their phonograph?

So far only rain here in northern Delaware. I just refinished the basement to display my phonographs, so I hope we won't get any flooding. Sure sounds like we'll have plenty of time to listen to 78s if the TV is right...

Got through Irene without damage, didn't even loose power. I guess we were very lucky this time. Hope everyone else is safe as well.
