Columbia Grafonola Regent

Post by [email protected] »

I have a beautiful ribbon mahogany table Columbia Grafonola Regent record player in very nice condition. One one end, there are 2 knobs to pull out the turntable. The handle to wind it is metal with a wooden knob. It has a needle holder with needles. The music sounds a little scratchy, but is either the needle or the record or both. On the other end is a pair of doors that open to the speaker. The labels (on each inside door are the labels in excellent condition. On each long side (each side alike) are doors that open to racked record storage. The legs are beautifully ornate. I can find no serial number. We bought it years ago in Indiana at an antique store. I have been told that it is rare to find one in good condition. The only other one I have seen was pretty dilapidated. I would like to know more about it, what it is worth, and should I decide to sell it, the best way to sell it. Thanks, Brenda
