I hope this off topic thread is OK with the mods.
It's an end of an era as Steve Jobs, the CEO of Apple Computers and man behind the iPod, iMac, iPhone, Macintosh, and other industry changing computers, succumbed to pancreatic cancer just today at the age of 56.

Sad, but I guess that's why he left just a few weeks ago

Sad, sad, Sad, I really hoped after he resigned he'd be able to recover and have more time. Too damn young. On the other hand, he sure accomplished a lot in the time he had.
I've been at Apple for 22 years, never met him though I saw him on stage at a couple company meetings and a few times in the cafeteria.

An amazing man who left a legacy. Will be remembered and spoke of in the next 80 years, just like Edison
