Re: Rex talking machine
Just my opinion here: The Rex machines I've seen have been rather simply (cheaply) built and very plain. The Rex Co. is a successor to the Keen-O-Phone Co which built very expensive machines. Keen-O-Phone went bankrupt and the creditors were left with a factory and a record pressing plant- it seems they decided to make as cheap a machine as possible and use it to help sell the records.
