Please Help Viva Tonal Model 710
I own a Viva Tonal Model 710 that was purchased by my Great Grandfather and has been passed on through the years to me. It is in great shape with original records etc.. It works and sounds great. I joined this forum because I am interested in the history of the piece and possibly the worth? I have zero knowledge about these machines. Thanks so much!

They were introduced in July 1926...per a posted on-line Columbia advertisement. Try a search for "Viva Tonal" and you will see threads that may help you, and opinions as to possible 'worth'. Photos are worth a thousand words when it comes to answering that question. If you could post one or more photos that might help the very experienced eyes on this forum give you some read on the value. I think it's fair to say that it would have collector value but the Columbias' are generally considered to be 'second fiddle' to the Victor orthophonic models. "Viva Tonal" and ""Orthophonic" being trademarks to identify phonographs made to play the then new (1926) electrically recorded records. John
