Non Keyboard symbols

Post by Gleemanguy »

A while back someone on the forum posted the key strokes necessary to create the symbol for "cents". As I recall it required several keys to be depressed together. Does anyone remember the procedure?

Just Google 'ASCII characters for [PC or Mac]'.

If you've got windows vista, go to your start menu, click all programs, then accessories, then system tools, then character map. You'll find a drop down menu that calls up all kinds of different fonts, Greek alphabet etc etc.
¢ is found under "sylfaen".
I think you'll find a character map the same way in most other windows versions too.

I found it using your instructions. The search worked on my computer using Windows 98. Sort of an evasive character to spot on the chart. It helps if you are using the right chart..Thanks Jack
