Wanted: Electric-motor Orthophonic parts

I bought a beautiful 8-35 a couple of days ago at an auction. Unfortunately, the auction house workers laid it in its back on the bed of my truck before I had a chance to fully assess the situation. The auction house had made an adapter to fit the recessed electrical prongs in the back of the machine and the adapter shattered the prong assembly when the cabinet was laid on its back. The debris also punched-in one of the round vent grilles. I didn't discover the damage until the next morning when I unloaded her.
So, I am looking for the plastic recessed male plug assembly and one round grill vent.

I hope you get your parts soon! The 8-35 is a beaut!
I'm sure many folks have had trouble with helpful but over-zealous loaders at auctions. I bought a giant Capehart Orchestrope a couple years ago, and even though I was with the guys all the way out to the truck, they were quicker that I'd have liked in hoisting it up on its back into the truckbed. Fortunately there was no damage but it was a bit unnerving at the time!

I have a topper and a bed-slide on my truck. I was concerning myself with getting everything open and slid out to receive it, and then had to make a quick decision about how to lay it, and worry about setting the drawers somewhere safe, and the lid falling open -- all the while these guys are hoisting it up onto the bed slide. I didn't have a moment's opportunity to inspect the back, and I never expected anything to be protruding an inch-and-a-half out of it! Thankfully that was the only damage. It's an absolutely beautiful machine! My wife can't stop looking at it!

I figure you got the albums for it too. Though I'm running out of space I'd make room for one of these! I understand a woman designed this model. I wonder if she also did the 10-35. Does anyone know?

When I first espied it at the auction house, there were no albums in it, so I figured they were gone as usual. Early in the auction, they held up two of the albums! They had pulled all of them out of the phonograph and were selling them together in a box. I won the albums, and then sat there another three-and-a-half hours worrying that I would be outbid by one of the later arrivals to the auction (which seems to be the pattern lately! LOL!) Fortunately, I only had one person bid half-heartedly against me. Final score: albums $27.50; 8-35 $110 (!!!!!) Total with tax less than $150!

That's a good story with a happy ending. Glad everything stayed together! Maybe you can post a picture once it's set up.

can you post a picture of the round vent grill that you want...I might have what your looking for but im not sure until I can see the design on this model.
