Victrola Bargain for the collector who has everything!

Post by 1923VictorFan »

I think I have now seen everything that life has to offer. Enjoy the following link. The price is sizzlin cheap! The case is flawless and the mechanics are pristine. Oh wait...the mechanics?

Some call it sarcasm...

So it's an overpriced case, what's the big deal?

I agree with Brian. By the way, the purpose of this section of the board, according to the subtitle is, "Buy, sell, trade, or post your eBay listings here."

This topic seems to be just another trite "look at this dumb ebay listing" item.

I may be in the minority, but I would prefer to keep this section of the board on topic, and not cluttered with this type of item. Just my 2 cents.
Best regards ... AZ*

As a seller in this section....I too think members should avoid posting CL and Ebay listing on here. As a member on here I'm not willing to offer free advertising on here for Ebay.... Since most of us are on line and share the same interests, I think we all see the listing anyway..... ;).
Lastly, any and all replies in the "Yankee Trader" should be made though PM's as a courtesy to other members selling or wanting. The "Aberola 111" thread is silly and out of place as it is a SOLD item and a perfect example of bumping down genuine ads for nothing. Take the discussion to "machines" if you must talk about it.

This is my opinion.

no, I got the sarcasm, I just think there are far better targets for it out there. I mean, this is a common victrola case stripped of the hardware and mechanics - a situation which for most people here is common enough as well - that's being offered for a bit too much money. so what.

I agree with most of the above but I appreciate the posting of a good craigslist item that the poster, for whatever reason, it not interested in buying. For example, I bought a matching cabinet for my Col BI that was for sale in Seattle craigslist thanks to someone posting it on the Trader. Jerry Blais
