Antique 1923 Phonograph Cabinet Creme/Gold - $495 (east bay)
This is a gorgeous 1923 Brunswick Phonograph cabinet without the phonograph inside, making it one to-die-for historical cabinet for just about anything (wet bar, books, collectables, etc). Complete with its original ID plate and issue number, patina front grill, original skeleton key and phonograph crank, and only the creme siding and legs have repainted and distressed to highlight the fabulous original worn-in gold pain on cabinet doors and all sides...everything else is as it was for years of love!! The body is in excellent condition, the original gold paint shows marks of age/wear, but looks incredible and is poly sealed.
Top lid opens for storage, as does the bottom cabinet. Brilliantly craved ornate detail on legs and grill, this piece is not just a fabulous piece aesthetic wise, but a real antique!
The Brunswick Company, founded in 1845, they crafted phonographs between the 1920-1930s. In all, the true Brunswick record players were only manufactured for 14 years and were some of the very best ever made.
