I have recently replaced the mica on a Columbia reproducer.
Can anyone tell me how to adjust the spring loaded needle bar screws (2)on a Columbia disc machine reproducer. Is it an exact science or do you just go with the trial & error method.
Thanks in advance

Re: Columbia needle bar screws (adjustment)
I'm assuming this is for the Analyzing reproducer. After everything is attached, I tighten the screws about halfway. I run my finger on the needle bar. If it makes a PUCK sound, I tighten it a little more so there is nothing loose like the mica in the reproducer. Make sure both screws are tightened evenly.

Thanks for the reply Harvey. I actually tighten both and then backed off ¾ of a turn. Seems to work well.
