Looking for basic cleaning tips

I have a nice Gem, just a bit dirty and could use some freshening up on the case and bedplate. I am used to working on Radios and was looking for a few cleaning tips that will not hurt the machine.

Many of us like a product called "Kotton Klenser" or "Go Jo". I'd suggest doing a search and you'll discover other threads about cleaning, etc. I hope you enjoy your Gem. Jerry B.
