Fake vs authentic gramophones

Dear all,

I'm new to this hobby. Could someone tell me if there is some way to clearly evaluate the authenticity of a gramophone? I know that there are many machines currently being manufactured in India, which are often sold for antique ones.

Best to google "crapophones" and you will find all the info you will ever need. You may also try buying books on Gramophones. Last, there are several threads on this forum that cover in great detail this subject. Best of luck .
