who is cheapest to ship edison phonographs?

Post by kirtley2012 »

hi everyone.
i hope to soon buy a edison standard 2 clip phonograph however the main boundary is postage, the seller got a quote from UPS for $470 which is rediculous.
can anyone tell me who is the cheapest to go for to send a edison standard weighing 22 pounds (just under 10kg) in a box 19"x16"x17" from oregon USA to newcastle UK.
thanks
Alex

Maybe you should ask on the UK forum. I'm sure many UK collectors have bought over here. $400.00+ seems about right for what your having shipped.
