Looking for a reasonably priced Edison horn for my standard
I'm looking to see if anyone in the New Hampshire area or Maine has a Edison horn reasonably priced. I prefer the morning glory style or other as long as it is a black one. I don't have a ton of money to spend on one. I just have the 14" whiches style one that came with it. Send me a personal message with your contact info number and if you have photos let me see them, thanks

Dont these make regular appearances on Ebay? I'm sure with a little patience, one will turn up close to home, and at a reasonable price.
Then again, your statement "as long as it's a black one" leads me to believe that you'd be unwilling to repaint the horn in the color of your choice, and what you are looking for is an Edison 10 panel horn with average to above average original paint for below market value.
Is this correct?

Edison horns are rather plentiful out there, so with patience, you should be able to find a nice one at a reasonable price. A couple of Stanton Auctions ago I bought a very nice Edison Home horn for $35.00, so you never know. I picked out the one I was interested in and was quite pleasantly surprised when the hammer came down. Perhaps someone in your area who is on this board will have what you need. I have a couple of horns that I would consider selling but by the time I got one packed and shipped to you the total cost would be more than they are worth. Watch your local Antique shops and shows as well as flea markets. You just never know what you might find.
One note, though. You will need a crane and they can get expensive. I don't feel like paying the high price for originals, so I get them from Ron Sitko. He sells a very nice copy of the type of crane that Edison originally supplied with his own black horns for about $65.00.
