Edison C-250 update/introduction.
Working currently on an Edison C-250 machine in mahoghany. I think I got it pinned down what the color of the stain I am going to use. Minwax makes a "red oak" which should match the original color pretty well.

This picture is a few days old. Working on the back now. This black is a tenacious finish, somebody did the machine alot of wrong , but way back in time. Considering what I have to work with, the machine should turn out really decent. Shellac is the way to go, looks much less heavy and thick , and is what they used.SquireWill wrote:Working currently on an Edison C-250 machine in mahoghany. Coming along. I pick at it. Hitting any thing hard these days seems impossible. Too many things tugging at me.SquireWill wrote:Well, the backside of the machine as of today.
