Left over part after VV-240 motor rebuild
I rebuilt a vv-240 motor tonight and ended up with a spare ½" washer after re-assembly. It came out of the bottom of the kerosene pan and I think it was in the grease on one of the gears from either side of the spring housing but I cannot seem to find a place for it. It is possible that it was stuck to the side of the pan after a Brunswick rebuild but I don't think so. Any ideas? It definitely came from the motor and not the motor mount bolts. It's the only washer like it.
