Big Collection Of Victor/Victrola Records

Post by thehumphries »

Hi All.

I stumbled across your forum when trying to figure out what to do with a big collection of my grandfather's records.

As a member of other forums, I apologize if this breaks the rules. We are in a spot right now and unsure of what to do.

There are 500ish records, give/take 200. We need to get rid of them but unsure how/where to do that. I am working on cataloging the records.

I'd prefer to sell them all in one shot. Would anyone be interested? Could anyone offer any expertise on how to unload all of them, preferably in one shot?

Thanks again and I appreciate any responses!

It all depends on what labels they are, condition, etc. Also, where are you located?

I'd stay most are in great/very good condition. Of the 100 I have went though, all have labels on them. Have a bunch in leather/binder books.

Located in Idaho, but will probably get them shipped to WI.
