Thanks George, I could only make out this on the one machine.However, a screw or eyelet could also be just a QC issue or whatever was on hand while trying to pump these out (like at Xmas). One comment I was going to post before the "fray" began was; what a year for you, between having three of these super rare Echophones in your home, but the 4 ultra rare ISM's!

The mandrel on the left appears to be gutta-percha, on the right looks to be metal.
