Info on Pla-More Lateral Adapter

Picked this up yesterday but can't find any information about it on the internet. Amy help would be appreciated.
the needle bar goes up a tube inside the reproducer.

Interesting... How did they go about sealing the tube from air-leakage from where the needle-bar emerges ?

Not sure how they sealed it and really can't get a good picture. Neat that it is a triangle shaped where you put the needle in
like an Exhibition reproducer.

The triangular hole is to accommodate bamboo needles.

That's the DD version to play 78s, I have the same adapter for a Victor to play Pathés or DDs.

I wonder what they thought would be gained by putting the needle bar on the inside? (unless it was to circumvent someone else's patent)... :geek:

The triangular hole not only accommodates wooden but also centers round needles relative to the lever activating the diaphragm.
