One machine is stated fort sale. Yet, the first photo is of a different machine from the other images. No reply. I've chased that dream before.

Cleveland is correct because it's on display in my living room! I purchased it in 2010 and it came with a large brass Bettini horn which is in one of the pics. Funny thing is that I don't even have all of those pictures anymore.cleveland1996 wrote:I think that I know the machine and it is safe in phono Collection..beware folks

Well, clearly a scam. However, is it two machines as James wrote or only one...Andersun wrote:Cleveland is correct because it's on display in my living room! It's one machine (Edison Spring Motor). The first photo is the lid which covers the whole machine. Only a kook would post that!gramophone78 wrote: Well, clearly a scam. Re: Red Alert In Portland Oregon!!!!
We've had scams on Portland craigslist for several years now. Until this, they have all been Auxetophone related. For example, one ad supposedly offered an "Auxetophone Opera" for sale from his uncle's estate. I don't believe they were intended to cheat someone out of money. I do believe the intention was to be irritating or to simply stir up local collectors. Jerry Blais

I'm sure you were calling the craigslister a kook.Andersun wrote: It's one machine (Edison Spring Motor). The first photo is the lid which covers the whole machine. Only a kook would post that!
I see now that the second and third open views do have more subtle color differences occurring on the serial number plate and the on/off lever.
