Red Moon

Post by US PHONO »

I was just looking at pictures of the red moon from 2 days ago and remembered another celestial event that was celebrated on a reproducer.

The comet was first visible in November 1909. Not sure if it was a souvenir during the time of the comet, or sold before to allow people to play records with an appropriate soundbox as the comet flew by! ;)

They look very similar to the Exhibition, especially the Saturn. "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery." :)
