The comet was first visible in November 1909. Not sure if it was a souvenir during the time of the comet, or sold before to allow people to play records with an appropriate soundbox as the comet flew by!

I was just looking at pictures of the red moon from 2 days ago and remembered another celestial event that was celebrated on a reproducer.
The comet was first visible in November 1909. Not sure if it was a souvenir during the time of the comet, or sold before to allow people to play records with an appropriate soundbox as the comet flew by!

They look very similar to the Exhibition, especially the Saturn. "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery."
