As 'edisonclassm' wrote, it is a Claravox provided for the Bush & Lane company; when sold as an attachment, it would have the CLARAVOX name on top, as in the pictures here: http://forum.talkingmachine.info/viewto ... f=2&t=8389

Re: What Is This Reproducer?
Thank you, Wyatt's write-up is very informative! I find the "loaded" c-spring and stylus link setup fascinating! I'd love to have the opportunity to hear one of these reproducers, compared with various Edison Diamond Disc Reproducers.Edisone wrote:As 'edisonclassm' wrote, it is a Claravox provided for the Bush & Lane company; when sold as an attachment, it would have the CLARAVOX name on top, as in the pictures here: http://forum.talkingmachine.info/viewto ... f=2&t=8389

I'm thinking that the loaded spring arrangement might account for the better bass extension that Wyatt mentions in his review.

Not to be TOO big of a PITA, but I came across a great thread showing a Duo Vox tone arm arrangement here: http://forum.talkingmachine.info/viewto ... =2&t=18479

Re: What Is This Reproducer?
I have a Vicsonia. It's not a real substitute. Edison disks are better served on an Edison machine.
