Victor front mount horn elbows
Is there a way to know the approximate date or serial numbers when the early front mount Victors switched to the brass front mount horn elbows from the leather elbows?

Re: Victor front mount horn elbows
An interesting project, but a difficult one.
One would have to determine whether a particular machine is in original condition: horns and elbows can easily be swapped.
Only if a machine is found with a certifiably original horn, known to have been with it ever since purchase, can one match the serial number with the elbow: I suspect machines of that caliber are few and far between.
