Did you really think you were the only one who knew about it? It's on the flippin' internet, the whole world knows it's there.
Okay, so the next time you see something for sale that interests you, even if it is online, please let me know so I can post it here to help out the wider collecting community.

Well, first, what you would have me do, in your comment above, is not what the original poster did and not what you protested over.

Second, I have posted notice of an item I would have liked to buy myself, (a Brunswick Cortez), true, it was far away and I already have one, but that has not always stopped me.

Did this machine close?
Do I need a bidding account to see the final price?
Just curious.

Thanks,
Gene

Thanks for posting this. I frequently search the web for interesting machines for sale, but I missed this one. If anybody doesn't appreciate posts like this they should try to convince the administrators of this site to remove the eBay & Craigslist Alert from the TMF site. I can't imagine how they could come up with a good argument to do so with out sounding self serving.

Yes, sorry, I saw your name at the end of the post and in my haste mistakenly identified you were the author.

Sharing information certainly is a great thing. I'm just pointing out that it should be done prudently, as information sharing doesn't always affect everyone positively. What's good for the gander isn't necessarily good for the goose. I think could we can all agree on that point?
