I don't want the OP to think I am putting his Victor VI down because I'm not.
The Victor VI or 6 came with all gold plated exposed hardware except the turntable. It was nickel plated. The gold turntable might have come from a Cheney as some of those had the gold plated turntables.
The back bracket isn't right for this model. The VI/6 back bracket had only gold pin striping while this one appears to have blue in it with the gold. Also the knurled thumb screws that hold the bracket are nickel and should be gold. As Jerry pointed out, this bracket probably came from a III or IV.
Not to add insult to injury but it looks like the horn hold down and thumb screw are also nickel. Kinda hard to tell for sure from the photos but they should also be gold plated.
Again, Not bashing this machine at all I just know I appreciated honesty when I was an early collector. Good luck with your sale.
