I don't think that Raphael complained about any specific deals not materializing. That indeed is in the nature of running a business. What I can fully understand and support is his complaint about people who make very detailed inquiries that cause a lot of work on his side and then don't have the common courtesy of even providing a simple response or acknowledgement like "thank you for the information, but I will not go forward..." or similar. That lack of basic manners is unfortunately becoming rarer in today's world. And it does not only help him move on, it would also benefit a potential next customer, because he can state in good conscience that the item is available. And all it needs is a simple response.

I have re-booted and re-organized the web page devoted to Dr. Z's stuff and, if all goes well, will add a few items each day:

http://www.musicaltreasuresofmiami.com/ ... ction.html

There are prices shown for each item, based on what I have advised the estate are fair estimates. Depending on your computer system, you may either have to click on the item or just hover the cursor over it.

Raphael, it was nice visiting with you the other day. I came home with some great machines and if anybody out there is considering making the trip to see this collection I encourage you to bring a big truck and get in on the action. Not only is there a wonderful variety but the quality of what I looked at is all high. I'm sure I missed several things and plan to go back soon. Thanks for taking the time with me and thanks for the fair prices. Planning to see you again soon. Joe

Joe,

Thanks for the kind words. So far I've had several people drive from out of state to see me, and they all have gone home with their trucks full of stuff. This week I will have two such visits. Seeing the collection in person, and my avoiding he hassle of shipping, make for a winning combination.

I'll second that, Joe. I just returned from Miami with a van full of great items (been down there twice in less than a month!) Thank you, Raphael. It was well worth the drive.

Grant,

It was good having you here and enjoying a few of my renowned frozen Margaritas after the day's business was done. I hope you can come back for another van load before long.

I've been adding new items to the website page every day (and deleting the sold ones), so folks should keep checking back, you never know what might pop up next that you can't live without:

Raphael,

Couold I bother you for some photos of the Columbia AN you have listed on your site? A pm works fine for me, or I will shoot you an email if easiest for you!

Thanks in advance,

Aaron,

Please always request a quote by detailing the item and stock #, as requested on the site, and send me an email using the link provided there. This is necessary to keep track of everything and provide full access to the information by the estate.

Thanks,

Raphael

Anytime I have emails Raphael I have gotten a reply in a very short time, usually within several minutes. I spoke with him yesterday about the Dr. Z collection and he gave me such a great deal that couldn't resist buying. I've found Raphael to be one of the easiest people to deal with. Now I have to keep watching his webpage to see what I need next.

Rich,

As always, thanks for a quick and easy deal.

The Forum has been a very successful venue for selling Dr. Z's stuff, every day things are shipping out, and new pictures are being added as fast as I can find the time to photograph them and post them to the website.

There's still some great items remaining, in all price ranges: http://www.musicaltreasuresofmiami.com/ ... ction.html - if you've been to the page before, be sure to refresh your browser to reflect the recent updates.

When inquiring, I need both the item description and stock #, please. Then I can respond with the pictures and pricing even if I'm sitting in the local pub goofing off (don't I wish).
