I want to say I didn't mean frankophone as anything insulting with this machine; my comment was a bit tongue in cheek. It was not meant as an insult by any means.
As stated this machine was a custom made machine from the 1920s for a brass manufacturer.
As others have discussed this machine is made of components from several different victor machines so I suspect it was custom made by a third party dealer. I doubt Victor would have done this.
So technically is a frakenphone but it has none of the odium of these machines as it is a period manufacture and was intended for a very unique reason.
It is a unique gorgeous machine and will do some collector well
The one frankenphone to rule them all!!
