Grossly overpriced but interesting- the makers were the Grandsons of the founders of the Knabe Piano Co.

Perhaps Knabe bought Crystola? Crystola was it's own company as far as I know from the examples I've seen, but from anything I've read, they were only in business a year or so. I've had a couple of Crystolas in the past with leaded, beveled-glass mirror horns, and one of our board members has one with a blown-glass horn. The example in the listing doesn't appear to have a glass horn (it's a bit hard to tell) -- perhaps Knabe bought the company as it failed?

I'm thinking it could be a dealer's tag- Knabe Bros. was a builder of pianos but could have sold phonograph as well.

If the cabinet had doors over the horn, it could easily pass for a Granada.

I used to own a Brunswick just like that one in the ad. It should have a cloth backed grille over the horn. At the price they're asking the seller should offer to have a new one made for you.
