This model is always worth restoring. The veneer on the door is salveagable; it will never match if you replace it.stetam wrote:OK, went and picked it up today. Plays well and came with 23 popular titled diamond discs, a Kent adapter, a new bottle of Howards Feed-N-Wax, a new diamond disc reproducer diaphragm and Copelands "Guide to collecting Edison records". It has the door, machine veneer is good but the door veneer is shot, not a big deal to replace but a piece of the wood broke out of the cabinet at the upper hinge so would need to be fixed. I only have $40 in it so is it worthwhile to restore it?
