This is a song made popular by Fanny Brice in the Ziegfeld Follies that became her signature song for most of the rest of her career. Gladys Rice sang for Edison Records for many years on Cylinder, Diamond Disc, and finally Needle Cut records. This record is a very late Edison record from January 1929. It was released as an electrically recorded Needle Cut record number 11032, and according to the DAHR archive information, a simultaneously recorded Diamond Disc number 52514.
