Edisonic lid tension spring- is replacing possible

how do you go about adusting the tension? what exactly do you turn? thanks

Loosen the top nut and tighten the lower nut. This will cause the eye hook to pull harder on the spring.

Your earlier photo showed the eye hook adjusted to give more tension.
