Hello All,
I was fortunate enough to pick this little guy up today. My question is: is the base complete? I have seen another accessory in pictures that looks like a rubber wheel that is on the spindle cap. Is this guy complete?
Thank you all in advance.

Re: Ragtime Rastus
You are missing the wooden "drive" cap that goes on the spindle of the phonograph. It looks like a wooden donut with a pin through the center of the donut hole. It goes on the phonograph spindle first and then the dowel with a slot on the base fits into the donut and meshes with the pin to drive the mechanism in the "platform" base that Rastus dances on.

That is what I thought! Thank you very much Curt. Any good places to grab this part?Curt A wrote: Sat Jul 10, 2021 8:48 pm You are missing the wooden "drive" cap that goes on the spindle of the phonograph. Re: Ragtime Rastus
There is a guy in NC, who is on the forum that makes replicas of the whole toy. He might be able to help with that piece. I don't know his user name, but his name is Brian Parlier and his phone number is: (704) 644-8606
Hope that helps...

Sounds like Rastus will be able to dance again soon.
