I need to find instructions on where to put the hardware for a crane set up for an Edison Home. From different pictures I see, it looks like the foot and top support are mounted almost in the middle of the machine. I did searches on this site and couldn't find any info. If anyone has some measurements or a web site with the info, or "rule of thumb" info, I would much appreciate it.

Front-of-case-case-mounted ‘Home’ cranes typically go about in the middle of the feedscrew. You don’t say which iteration ‘Home’ that you have, but iteration ‘B’ and up typically have a slot milled into the top-edge of the front panel where the factory upper crane support fits (it’s a bent piece of sheet metal with a hole in it for the crane rod to pass through), and the underside of the cabinet has a bent metal ‘receiver’ for the crane foot to slide into. Sometimes these are missing, but the screw holes remain.bruv wrote: Tue Mar 08, 2022 9:21 pm I need to find instructions on where to put the hardware for a crane set up for an Edison Home. Thank you both so much. This machine doesn't have any holes on the bottom or the slot cut on the top, most likely never had a crane on it. The guy I am getting this info for wants to put a crane and large horn on it. Your info fits the bill. That is much appreciated.

Thank you for the replies. I didn't know they made that type of clip. I'll have to look for one. Thanks again.
