I wonder why the 'id' ivorine is different to the metal one I have seen on others - I thought this would have been standard ?
Also, what is the 'serial number' ?

For example, it can't mean that this was the 434,485 th India teak HMV 102 to be produced / made can it ? Like they made nearly half a million of them in India ?

Record storage tray missing. Turntable incorrectly recovered in green. Carrying handle needs replacing.
Despite these failings it will probably still make more than I paid for mine.

Having checked on the internet I think it is possible perhaps that the apparent original seller (LC Saha Ltd) still exists to this day and is now a grocery shop.
I love the (huge) LC Saha trademark logo !

This one does have a lot of potentially amazing provenance though and of course the seller is posting it - a miracle in itself !epigramophone wrote: Thu Feb 16, 2023 4:34 am Record storage tray missing. Turntable incorrectly recovered in green. Carrying handle needs replacing.
