Thank you for accepting me into your forum group.
My name is Rene (Pronounced Rainy). I'm an antique dealer in Kewanee, Illinois. I come across several talking machines/phonographs and thoroughly enjoy them.
I currently have four in my collection; three Victors and one Edison. I promise I'll deal with only one at a time.
I have a Victor VV-IV A Table model Serial Number 399753. I've not had one before so I have to learn it. The speed regulator is missing and the turn table will not turn unless I manually lift the lever inside of the box. I cannot find a speed regulator for this specific model on line and I do not know how to install one if I do find one. Can anyone help me?
Thank you,
Rene

Re: Victor Table Model VV-IV A
You need an escutcheon like the one shown, a long adjustment screw and two wood screws. George Vollema will have what you need http://www.victroladoctor.com/.
