Here is an excerpt from a 1927 edition of The Voice of the Victor that some of you may find interesting regarding the redesigned spring barrel, grease seal and silent wind mechanism.

This later design of motors must be a bit rare, as I don't see it frequently on the motors for sale on eBay etc I wish I had one of these...
