Almost done with my Book, "The History of Victor Records in China"

So far the cover could use some work. :D
Really wanted to create a book for this material as I haven't found one that covers it, of course, Michael Sherman briefly went over these types in his Guide, but a full book is always nice. ;)

Be sure to look up Samuel Murchison Seka on the interwebs for some music and phonograph reading material.

Did Victor really send agents to China in 1902? I thought that all of the first recordings were made in the U.S. by the Chinese colony there.

Here is a good overview of Chinese recordings, both on cylinders and discs, between ca. 1900 and 1911: https://www.capsnews.org/apn2008-1.htm

Some were recorded domestically, some were recorded from G&T/Victor agents sent to China around 1902~, Columbia also did the same. Eventually, Victor stopped doing domestic recordings all together (though I can't find as to why?), & thanks for the article, I need some sources.
