There are at least 3 feed screws listed on eBay right now, and a complete carriage with the ½ nut, (stating it's from a model 75, but that will work for you).

I have the feed nut with flat bar. $25 plus $12 mailing. So $37 total US if interested.
Thanks
Pete

Missing the half nut completely? No wonder. Luckily, Amberola 30 parts shouldn't be too hard to find.

Keep in mind you won't be able to connect that that reproducer with an Amberola 30 horn.

Yes, sorry, I've been terribly ill so I was off the forums for a couple days. Back now though. :D

FINAL UPDATE:

Just got Pete S.’s parts and installed them, mounted the screw with the nut and the ½ nut with the tracker. Happy to say it works perfectly now. Basket case Amberola 30 saved. :D

Well it appears that I spoke too soon. Recently it's starting to give out again- except now when the reproducer makes contact with the record it slows to a stop.

See this YouTube video for what I mean https://www.youtube.com/shorts/W94Egaw5x78

Does anyone know if this is the motor or the reproducer?

I also ran the motor down and wound it back up- still the same effect.

In the recent video I can see the mandrel shaft end collar is spinning around along with the mandrel. It should never be spinning. The mandrel shaft collar is intended to limit the horizontal travel of the spinning mandrel on its shaft. It should be adjusted and then secured to the mandrel shaft to allow just enough "play" between the mandrel and the gear at the opposite end. Also, are the mandrel balance springs installed into the recessed areas on the governor end of the mandrel? If not, this could be a contributing factor of the wavy sound effect heard in the video.

Doug
