Thank you. Will do- what do you think is causing the slowing?

Is the mandrel shift collar the thing with the screw? I tightened that and the mandrel just won't spin at all.

The mandrel shaft collar should be positioned on the shaft to allow just enough free rotation of the mandrel and then tightened. It might require a few tries but eventually you will find that spot. There should be a recessed adjustment ‘spiral’ cut into the shaft end that the collar screw seats into similar to that on the Fireside.

Post a photo off the mandrel shaft end. I also noticed something looked odd there in the split second that it can be seen in the video. It almost appears that there's a screw inserted in the oil hole at the end of the mandrel. (If so, the screw should not be there.)

Ah I see. This motor was purchased when I first was getting into Phonographs as "restored."

Since then, I've noticed;
1 reproducer screw missing
1 unneeded screw at end of mandrel
1 missing tracking bar
1 missing tracking gear
1 missing nut
2 missing tracking mechanism screws
1 missing tag

There's certainly been a lot wrong with this thing lol.

Also, this morning I went downstairs to test it out to try and fix the issue- but it appears to be operating normally again?? I don't even know anymore.

Also Jerry, I removed the screw like you suggested- I'm not quite sure why it's there in the first place.

Fellowcollector, I shift it around slightly yesterday with no change. However, after winding it up again this morning like I said it appears to work fine. Thank you both for the info.
