Re: WANTED: Victor Type D ID plate
I suspect finding a real "D" ID tag will be somewhat difficult. Would it be possible to take a similar style tag, fill in the rectangle boxes that indicate the type and serial number, and have a jeweler engrave a "D" and an appropriate serial number? Just a thought...

Re: WANTED: Victor Type D ID plate
Hi Jerry. At one time someone was making repro ID plates with emty boxes, but I don't know if they made this style. I imagine it could be done, i'd just like to have something that looks appropriate. It kills me not to know the serial number for this machine!Jerry B. wrote: Fri Sep 26, 2025 10:53 am I suspect finding a real "D" ID tag will be somewhat difficult.
