Victor’s advertising budget in 1914 through one agency was $802,498.00 which equates to over $25 million today.
VTMCo obviously saw the benefits of advertising.

Well, they only had to sell for example maybe 8800 Victrola XI's at $100 (assuming cost of goods sold about $10 each) to cover the cost which they were very likely easily doing!
