Questions on a Victor P1

I recently bought this Victor P1. It's my first outside horn phonograph, and I was wondering what specific parts it needs to be up and running again.

It has no turntable, but as I suspected, none of the turntables from my Victrolas seemed to fit. (I figured it was worth a try, anyways )
It's also missing the reproducer and wooden horn support. What size and style turntable would it originally have? What does the proper horn support look like on it? Would the reproducer be a long-throat type or something else? Sorry for all the questions, I just want to get this right the first time. Pictures would be appreciated.

It would use a 10", cast iron turntable and an Exhibition long-throat reproducer. I believe the wooden tonearm should be the 14" size.

BE CERTAIN TO CONFIRM THE THAT THE DIAMETER OF YOUR SPINDLE SHAFT MATCHES THE HOLE IN THE TURNTABLE.

Long throat exhibition reproducers come up for sale on eBay quite often. Also if you post on yankee trader someone will likely have one they will sell you. Also you can can buy this:

This allows you to convert any more common taper arm exhibition reproducer into a long throat version. Regular exhibitions come up for sale often on eBay and again someone on this forum likely has one they would sell you for a reasonable price.

I can't tell from the photo, but it looks like the spindle may be threaded. If so it would have had a record hold down and take the older style 10" turntable that JerryVan linked to.. You can get a reproduction hold down here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/224788774303?i ... SwpY5h32Qh

I may have a complete original travelling arm in my pile. I’ll have a look tonight. I don’t have a reproducer.

If I can offer a word of advice...when I started collecting I always bought parts machines because they were cheaper. When I eventually found the parts to complete the machines I had more money in them than if I had bought a complete machine. I was a slow learner but you can benefit from my mistakes.

There's yet another problem-- we got the spring repaired and the motor runs just fine by itself. When I put any turntable on it (even if the turntable is not yet the correct one) the motor immediately goes dead. It doesn't want to turn at all. When I press on the spindle when it runs without a turntable, it doesn't take much force to stop it. It is wound as tight as I am comfortable winding and the motor is greased and oiled properly. The only thing I can think of is a weak spring or a gear rubbing somewhere. Any ideas?

There should be a ball bearing at the bottom of the hole for the spindle shaft to rest and spin upon. Make sure it is there...........many times if the motor has been taken apart it can go missing without one realizing it........or the old oil has become tar like............
