Victor Art Shop Ad....1924
To get you guys through the withdrawal symptoms from the Victrola site being down here's an ad from The International Studio Magazine of August 1924. I saw this model once for sale in a junk shop here in Toronto...sans mechanism of course. And why didn't I buy it,I hear you cry? First it was pre-E bay and I wondered where on earth I would get the fiddly bits for it, secondly I was in grad school and poor, and finally even if I hadn't been in school the seller wanted an arm and a leg for it because she thought it was a real Tudor cabinet. I pointed out the Victor logo inside but she wasn't convinced. Ye Olde 1590 Talkinge Machine.

Thanks, Jim, again for your great scans. I've seen this ad before but not it color.

Is there a model # for that?
I would nearly give my soul for that one!
