Sharon's posts were always cheery and enthusiastic. It is sad when news of a kindred friend passes. She will be truly missed.
Why do we need signatures when we are on a first avatar basis?

This is sad news. I remember her enthusiasm and kindness on the old OTVMMB which, while never short on enthusiasm, was frequently short on kindness. Thank you, Jeff.

This is from a 2009 introduction she posted the Antique Talking Machines forum.
I thought would be nice to add her picture here.

I only read her contributions on these forums and I wish her husband and family peace. :rose:

Like many others here I never had the pleasure of meeting Sharon in person but her contributions and witty comments often made me chuckle. I remember there was a thread on a predessor board that she was participating in. The thread was lost when that board closed without warning, but when the new board was started up she re-started the thread immediately with "as I was saying before I was so rudely interrupted...." It says a great deal that her lovely personality touched the lives of so many fellow collectors.

I am very saddened by this news and my thoughts are with her family at this time.
