What I should have written was;
I thought that the "eBay and Craigslist Alert Section" was more a place to point out auctions or listings of machines that we thought were potentially good deals for other members, that perhaps, were not close enough to us, a duplicate machine that we already possessed, or one that is above our current budget.
I had no interest in promoting this particular machine as a good buy for someone on this forum.
In retrospect I recognize that my interpretation was a narrow one.
George Paul is a very good friend, so his comments were not taken as harsh in any way, nor were your comments considered crass.
I may have inadvertently alerted others to the auction, but in no way endorse it as a good deal.
As far as following rules, I generally do.

I did not take offense to anything that was written here.
I am extremely thick skinned.
I guess 28 years of being a high school teacher, football coach, and wrestling coach have made me that way.
