Re: Wanted: victor ii humpback elbow
Yeah i assumed that at some point someone had an incorrect motor in the cabinet and they needed the clearance. That notch goes from the top of the cabinet to the hole for the crank. The cabinet was empty when i got it so I’ll never know i guess. I actually don't have a crank for this motor. It did not come with one and Ive been waiting to get one until i could verify the shaft was useable. It looks like theres just not enough thread there to rely on. Ive had terrible luck with cranks on multiple machines. lol I would love to know what the correct crank looks like aswell so i can start looking for one. Hopefully it will be easier to find than the elbow is lol

The crank is the standard female one for the Victor II through V. Photo and measurements below.

Thank you. I tried one of those but it seemed to stick out too far from the cabinet. However, just about every picture online basically shows the same crank, so with your added confirmation, I trust that this is the correct crank.kiwiatlarge wrote: Mon Feb 03, 2025 8:18 pm The crank is the standard female one for the Victor II through V. To the OP, your brake is correct.

Thanks for the offer. What would you charge for this? I really don't want to buy another motor just to get the shaft lol I'm going to take a look around today and see if i can spot anything useable but i don't have high hopes.JerryVan wrote: Mon Feb 03, 2025 5:46 pm The winding shaft should be 3-¾" overall length. The notch cut in the edge of the cabinet should not be there. BTW, is it possible that the broken off end is stuck in your crank?
If you can't find one, I can make a new shaft for you.
The funnny thing is, in checking this out for you, I realized that my Vic II has the wrong crank. Can you post a pic of yours please?

No problem. Just checking. So many times the PM's don't seem to work here and email addresses sometimes change without getting updated on the forum.winduptunes23 wrote: Sat Feb 08, 2025 8:35 amI did!
