Back in 2006, I wrote an article that compared the marketing tactics of the iPod with the gramophone. I only wish I had the resources of this forum to provide input on the article. But as its almost always better to be late then never, any suggestions or comments are welcome.

Great article. I really like how you pointed out the similarities, but I absolutely love the "Victrola in surgery". Would you be willing to share this page here on the forum in better resolution? It's very hard to see in the small picture.

Reminds me of something I heard, recently: that surgeons don't LIKE noise, because it causes the pupils to dilate and that causes their vision to be less clear!
