Came across this little home brew machine and thought I’d share. Started life as a Columbia eagle that was ‘converted’ to play concert cylinders.
Some items to note:
Additional external mainspring
Different governor weights and brake
Pillar cut out to accommodate the larger governor weights
Wood mandrel covered In fabric
Enlarged belt pulleys

A true piece of history, and a witness of the careful work of enthusiastic fine people with poor means and a great will to work. If I had it, it would be a keeper!
