That is a nice document to have, oftentimes these are lost and it is relatively unusual to see them, thanks for posting it.
By the way, SF and DF refer to single face and double face records. RS is Red Seal and I believe PL refers to Purple label, these were the various classes of Victor records.

The ID tag is best to determine the series of your machine. You posted about an VV-IX but the tag is for an VV-XVI, which do you have? The gold taper tube in your first posting may indicate you are asking about an XVI.

I checked the parts listing for the Type D XVI with the serial number on the tag in your photo. There is no listing for a separate screw, just for the assembled support. The screw listed is for the pivot pin at the top, not at the base. Unfortunately I do not have a Type D XVI in the collection to check. I did look at some XIV and XVIII’s and none have the hole circled in your picture, the casting is uninterrupted. Maybe someone here can check their machine. Is this a two piece support casting?

Hi Mark,

Thanks again for your interest and helping me out. I know nothing of these magnificent machines and obtained it at an estate sale. It was cherished by the original owner of the house and I promised to love and care for it as she did. It was working and playing perfectly fine until I brought it home and noticed the piece was loose and wouldn't play anymore. That's when I noticed there is a missing screw. IWhen I look at the tag I see XV it's hard to determine if there's an I at the end. Attaching some more photos.
